Lady Victoria Hervey cut a sophisticated figure on day five at Royal Ascot on Saturday, opting for a demure covered-up ensemble following her more risqué recent looks.

The model, 45, stunned in lace figure-hugging dress, stylishly cinched at the waist to accentuate her svelte frame as she joined a slew of stars braving the post-heatwave rain for the final day of the racing event.

Victoria matched her white dress with her accessories, donning an ornate head-piece teamed with cream heels and a small handbag.

The stunner donned some simple jewellery, including a beaded bracelet, and even coated her nails in an ivory hue.

She kept her make-up classy and chic with dark lined eyes and a muted pink lip.

The dressed down outfit comes days after the socialite and former ‘It Girl’ revealed her physique in a white blazer and trouser combo, teamed with a see-through shirt, as she stepped out for Ladies Day at the Berkshire racecourse.

Style guides for the racing event – that is usually attended by the Queen – specify that dresses and tops with sheer sections, straps and sleeves are not permitted when in the Royal Enclosure.

However this year the annual event is encouraging guests to be more daring than ever with their outfit choices and also appears to encourage racegoers to embrace a more ‘casual’ look at the event, with female models posing in mini dresses and platform heels, while men are permitted to wear Cuban shirts and printed garments.

The daughter of the 6th Marquess of Bristol in May also went braless in a daring cut-out gold tulle gown, which plunged deeply to reveal her ample cleavage.

Elsewhere on Saturday Georgia Toffolo teamed an elaborately decorated purse with a chic, cream blazer suit as she attended the prestigious event.

Former pro boxer Nicola Adams, 39, also made an appearance, looking dapper in a plaid-print green and blue suit.

She teamed her chic ensemble with a wide-brim hat, wearing a simple button-up beneath the blazer.

The athlete donned a chunky chain necklace and some rings as she posed with her pregnant girlfriend Ella Baig, who looked incredible in a sunny floral baby doll dress that showed off her bump.

The reality star, 25, complemented her tanned complexion in the trumpet-sleeved ensemble, which also featured a fanned out skirt ruffling, carrying a white umbrella when the summer skies turned grey.

The five-day society favourite event has returned to its pre-pandemic extravagance, after restrictions meant it was subdued in 2020 and 2021.

The five-day event has seen a number of high profile attendees, including senior royals like Prince Charles and the Duchess of Cornwall.

Kate Middleton, 40, also appeared at Ascot this year, alongside husband Prince William, 39.

However, despite having horses running in more multiple events, the Queen has not attended the society favourite event, amid ongoing mobility issues.

Pictures showing people clutching umbrellas and ponchos as they fight to stay dry amid Saturday’s drizzle are a far cry from scenes on Friday’s heatwave.

There, revellers were seen drowning drinks, and sporting skimpy outfits, in a bid to stay as cool as possible as temperatures rose to 66F (19C) across the South East.

On Friday Lizzie Cundy also stripped down to lace lingerie and sported a dramatic feather head piece to celebrate Ascot from her garden on Friday during the heatwave.

The Instagram snap comes after she stepped out in a leggy yellow mini dress to return her Ladies Day hat after attending the lavish annual event the previous day.

The presenter, 54, sizzled in the sensational snap as she concluded that it was ‘way too hot’ and that she would be doing her ‘bets from home’ instead.

Lizzie took the heatwave as an opportunity to soak up the sun as she kicked back on a lounger with a glass of champagne in hand.

She slipped into a pair of bright red stiletto heels and carried a matching clutch bag, shielding her eyes with some glamorous sunglasses.

Alongside the saucy snap she penned: ‘It’s way too hot for Ascot today! Absolutely sizzling! So doing Ascot from home and my bets are on!’
