Nigerian born Ebere Eze scores goal of the season contender for Crystal Palace (video)
Nigerian-born Eberechi Eze scored one of the goal of the season contenders.
Eze produced a beauty as Crystal Palace beat Sheffield United 2-0 at home in a Premier League encounter played on Saturday, January 2nd.
Jeffrey Schlupp scored in the fourth minute to put Crystal Palace ahead.
Schlupp was taken out for Eberechi Eze in the 40th minute due to injury.
Eberechi Eze would receive the ball from James McArthur at half field to score a wonderful strike.
Speaking after the game, Eze said “I thought I may as well take the chance and see if I can beat someone.
“When I got into shooting range I was thinking ‘I’ll try my luck and see what happens’, and thankfully it went in.”
“Potentially. I know it’s a good goal. I’m grateful for the opportunity to come on, and to take my chance which was great.”
“You want to come on and make an impact and be effective. We have to be ready on the bench, and take our chance when it comes.”
