Nigerian Victor Osimhen has been named Lille FC Player of the Year
Super Eagles of Nigeria forward Victor Osimhen has been named Player of the Year for French Ligue 1 outfit LOSC Lille.
Osimhen joined Lille from Belgian First Division side Royal Sporting Charleroi in the summer transfer window of 2019.
He had an instant impact upon arrival at Lille scoring o his debut.
With the French Ligue canceled due to the deadly Coronavirus, Osimhen’s season is over hence been named Player of the Year for his team.
He is a deserving winner contributing a total ofΒ 13 goals and 4 assists in the French League.
Osimhen was announced as Lille Player of the Year on the club’s official Twitter account.

Osimhen also has one goal in the Coupe de France, 2 goals in the Coupe de La Ligue, and 2 goals in the Champions League.
