Nigerian and Pyuynik forward, Yusuf Otubanjo’s goal against Slovan Bratislava has been voted the UEFA Conference League Goal of the Group Stage.

Armenian club, Pyunik won the game 2-0 on September 15 at the Vazgen Sargsyan Republican Stadium with Otubanjo and Artak Dashyan scoring.
Otubanjo emerged victorious over nine other contestants including compatriot Samuel Chukwueze who was placed sixth in the poll carried out by Heineken.
UEFA made the announcement on their Twitter handle.
“Yusuf Otubanjo wins goal of the group stage for his GOLAZO against Slovan Bratislava! ,”they Tweeted.
Pyunik were also jubilatory after the win.
“The goal of our striker Yusuf Otubanjo was named as the goal of the group stage of the @europacnleague,” they Tweeted.
Otubanjo has scored four goals in eight Armenian Premier League games this season.
Otubanjo played two games for the Nigerian U-17 team in 2004.
Pyunik are currently fourth in the Armenian Premier League with 26 points after 14 matches played.
