Paris 2024 Olympic Games: Super Falcons Begin Preparations In Seville With 14 Players.

The Super Falcons of Nigeria have started preparations in Seville, Spain for the 2024 Summer Olympic Games in Paris.

A total of 14 players took part in Monday’s training session which is their second since they arrived in the Spanish city on Saturday.

The duo of Esther Okoronkwo and Michelle Alozie reportedly arrived camp today while reigning African women’s footballer of the year, Asisat Oshoala is expected to join the squad soon.

Seville will host the nine time African champions for the next 10 days as they look to get into top shape before heading to Paris for the competition.

The Super Falcons will take on Canada in a test match on July 17 before their opener against Brazil in Bordeaux on the 25th.

World champions Spain, Brazil and former champions Japan are the opponents of the Super Falcons in Group C.

The Super Falcons of Nigeria returned to the Olympic Games for the first time in sixteen years after beating the Banyana Banyana of South Africa to the ticket in April.
