Troops of Operation Tura Takaibango have yet again recorded another massive victory over Boko Haram insurgents in Marte and neighbouring communities in Borno, State.

The victory over the Boko Haram insurgents comes after the 48-hours ultimatum given to troops of Army Super Camp 9 in Dikwa Local Government by the Chief of Army Staff, Major-General Ibrahim Attahiru during an operational visit two days ago.

The troops had earlier destroyed some land mines planted by the terrorists a ago before launching the onslaught which led to the death of twenty Boko Haram fighters in Marte and environs

In a piece of related news, 10 civilians got killed and 47 injured after some Boko Haram fighters attempted to infiltrate Maiduguri on Tuesday evening.

Borno State Governor, Professor Babagan Zulum and some state officials paid a visit to the victims of the attack afterwards.

However, troops and members of the Civilian Joint Task Force successfully repelled the attack in Kaleri area of the state capital.
