The Nigeria National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC) has been declared as a commercial entity henceforth.
The launching of the “new” NNPC was graced by president Muhammadu Buhari and other state dignitaries.
One of the major highlights of the event was rendition of “Fire on the Mountain” by Afro-pop/soul singer, Asa.
The song released in 2007 highlights the failures of the government in discharging its duties and its lack of foresight for dealing with matters that might escalate in the future.
