President Buhari’s ally Isa Funtua is dead

According to reports Isa Funtua has been confirmed dead.

Reports say Isa Funtua died on the evening of Monday, July 20th at the national capital Abuja.

Reports say the cause of the death of Isa Funtua was a devastating heart attack.

Isa Funtua died at the age of 78 and he is expected to be laid to rest on Tuesday, July 21st as Muslims do according to the Ismalic principles.

Isa Funtua was reportedly an ally of President Muhammadu Buhari.

Isa Funtua was the Chairman of Bulet Construcion company. He also was a patron of Newspaper’s Proprietors Association of Nigeria (NPAN) and founding Managing Director of Democrat Newspaper.

Bashir Ahmad the Personal Assistant on New Media to President Muhammadu Buhari released a statement about the death of Isa Funtua

The statement on his official Twitter account said, “President @MBuhari condoles with family members, government and people of Katsina State on the passing of his longtime friend and associate, Mal. Ismaila Isa Funtua. The President prays to Allah for repose of his soul and to grant the family strength & fortitude to bear the loss.”
