Despite recent setbacks reported in the media in the last few days, the Nigerian Army has continued to sustain the firepower against ISWAP/Boko Haram terrorist in the North East.
In a recent development, troops of Operation Lafiya Dole ambushed and neutralised three ISWAP/Boko Haram terrorist and recovered several weapons from the criminals.
The operation was carried out by troops of 202 battalion and special amoured brigade based on credible intelligence report.

So, between the 11th and 22nd of May, the Nigerian Army reported that it has killed 35 criminal elements and recovered caches of weapons in the massive onslaught in the North East.
