Troops of Operation Tura Takaibango, a subsidiary of Operation Lafiya Dole continues to achieve success in the war against insurgency in the Northeast.
In a well-coordinated attack yesterday 9th February, Troops of Operation Tura Takaibango once again dealt Boko Haram fighters a huge below in the Bama area of Borno State.
With close aerial support from Nigeria Airforce fighter jets and helicopter gunships, troops neutralised scores of Boko Haram combatants around the Bama/Rann/Gwagwamdu area of the state.
Also, troops recovered gun trucks, motorcycles and some arms and ammunition in the onslaught.
