In a matchday three group qualifier for the 2022 Africa Cup of Nations Cup (AFCON) played on Friday, November 13th the Super Eagles of Nigeria were held to a 4-4 draw by the Leone Stars of Sierra Leone.
Coach Gernot Rohr has expressed disappointment with the result and performance of the team giving reasons for the collapse.
President of the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) Amaju Pinnick has lambasted the team stating that allowing Sierra Leone to come back from four goals down is unacceptable.
After the disappointing result, some players are already talking tough ahead of the second leg.
The Super Eagles travel to Freetown to take on the Leone Stars in matchday four of the qualification series.
