Throwback: Real Madrid beat Atletico Madrid 4-1 to win 2014 Champions League (video)
On May 24th, 2014, Real Madrid beat neighbors Atletico Madrid 4-1 to win the 2014 Champions League title.
It was the second all Spanish La Lga UEFA Champions League encounter which took place in front of 60,976 fans at the Estádio da Luz, Lisbon.
Diego Godin gave Atletico Madrid the lead in the 36th minute but Sergio Ramos equalized for Real Madrid in the 93rd minute as the game went to extra-time.
Gareth Bale put Real Madrid ahead in the 110th minute, Marcelo Viera made it a two-goal cushion un the 118th minute.
Cristiano Ronaldo scored from the penalty spot in the 120th minute as Real Madrid made it a 4-1 victory.
