Popular nollywood actor, Yemi Solade has reacted to the ban on Twitter by the President Buhari-led administration.
The actor, while speaking to Goldmyne TV at a recent event said the social media application went too far insulting President Buhari by deleting his tweet last Wednesday.
The microblogging company deleted President Buhari’s “genocidal” tweet after it was reported by users.
While he admitted that the ban is an infringement of the citizens fundamental human right, he said he will not subscribe.to hate speech, false news that are mostly circulated on the platform.

Nigerians, who have been accessing the platform via various Virtual Private Networks have been reacting to the ban since Friday as the government continues to tightens its grip on the ban.
The government, through the National Broadcasting Commission has also directed all public and private broadcasting stations to deactivate their Twitter accounts in a latest development.
