As Oyo State intensify its fight against COVID-19, there seems to be some challenges as the Governor Seyi Makinde led team look to contain the spread of the Pandemic in the state
Governor Seyi Makinde revealed that two COVID-19 patients have escaped isolation in one of the centers today as the Governor gave an update on the state of the Pandemic in the state.
He made known to the public via his verified twitter handle stating that the two patients might have gone back to their respective residence.
2. Of the 33 active cases being managed by the state, two have absconded, possibly to their permanent places of residence. This brings the number of active cases in Oyo State to 31.

In addition, Governor Seyi Makinde said the state has currently 31 confirmed COVID-19 cases with the exception of the two who just absconded.
