Reigning champions of the Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) Enyimba International have been knocked out of the 2020 CAF Confederation Cup (CAFCC) after a 2-0 loss to Horoya away in their second leg encounter played on Sunday, March 8th.
Horoya forced Enyimba to a 1-1 draw at the Aba International Stadium last weekend to have an away goal advantage.
Horoya would put early pressure on Enyimba with a goal by Nigerian forward Bolaji Sakin in the 28th minute to take a goal advantage to the halftime break.
Horoya would seal the victory when Samassekou Boubacar converted a ball through to him by Sylla Morlaye in the 84th minute to knock Enyimba out at the quarterfinal stage.
