Nigeria’s COVID-19 figures is still on the rise as the National Center for Disease Control confirmed one of the highest number of cases yesterday.
A total number 790 fresh COVID-19 were cases were recorded yesterday and for the first time Lagos State had the second highest number of cases.
Delta State had 166 fresh cases, Lagos had 120, Enugu with 66 while Abuja had 65.

The surge in the number of cases means that the country now has over 16,000 active cases across the country.
A breakdown of cases by state still shows that Lagos State still has the highest number of confirmed cases with 10630.
