German Bundesliga giants, Borrusia Dortmund have completed a world record transfer fee for 17 year old teenage Englishman, Jude Bellingham.
The 17 year old officially joined Borrusia Dortmund for 25 million pounds which makes him the most expensive teenager in history.
Jude Bellingham was also linked to Manchester United but the teenage star opted to continue his development at the Sibnal.Iduna Park for the next five years.
The young English midfielder after signing for the YelowBlack said;
“I can’t thank Birmingham enough for what they have done for me, not just this past year but since the age of seven.”
“Of course I wish everyone associated with the club nothing but the best. Once a blue always a blue. However, I’m incredibly excited to have joined one of Europe’s biggest clubs. The direction they are heading in and how much they help to improve young players made it an easy decision for myself and my family.”
“I can’t wait to perform in front of all the fans when they are back inside one of the most beautiful stadiums in the world.”
Bellingham follows the footsteps of another Englishman, Jordan Sancho who left for Borrusia Dortmund from Manchester City in 2017 and has been a massive success since joining the club.
Jude Bellingham has 4 goals, 3 assists in 43 appearances for Birmingham this season.
