Nigerians celebrate Wizkid day as musician turns 30

Wizkid is trending on social media as the popular musician is celebrating his birthday.

Ayodeji Ibrahim Balogun popularly known as Wizkid was born in Surulere, Lagos State, Nigeria on 16th July 1990 which makes his now 30.

since he arrived in the Nigerian music industry Wizkid has been consistent, gone international and made the country proud with several hit collaborations with top American artists such as Beyonce, Chris Brown, and Drake.

To celebrate his 30th birthday here are some key details about Wizkid

Wizkid has three studio albums –  Superstar in 2011, Ayo in 2014 and Sounds from the Other Side in 2017 with Made In Lagos expected sometime in 2020.

Wizkid was signed initially  to Empire Mates Entertainment owned by Banky W, he later created his label Starboy Entertainment in 2013 and in 2017 he signed a multi-album deal with RCA Records in March 2017

Wizkid has three sons-  Boluwatife, Ayo, and  Zion
