Please ooh! I don’t have Eczema! – Honourable Akin Alabi hits back at artist who drew him a portrait (See tweet
It has become more or a less a tradition for artists – charcoal or hyperreality to draw celebrities and tag them to the portrait on Twitter in a bid to get them to buy it, or get brand visibility.
However, when a Twitter artist with the display name; Mario_Spunky tried to get the attention of Akin Alabi, a member of the Federal House Representative, it back fired.
The artist tagged Akin Alabi Twitter handle to his portrait which he posted but the honourable replied him by saying he doesn’t have a skin disorder- eczema.

Look at how people reacted 👇
I'm not an artist and I've never drawn anything. Drawing was a nightmare while I was in school.
I'm giving this background information because I'm thinking of drawing you (on behalf of this Artist) as a retaliation for your unkind reaction to his work.

You offered me food that I don't like, I reject it. Where is the rudeness inside na? All those critiizing @akinalabi are hipocrites if they accept what what they hate just to make the presenter feel good.

That’s why I should have eczema?

Understand: Akin Alabi doesn't hate art/drawings, he just has a very high expectancy of quality of work due to his attention to detail. When the right artwork of him is correctly done, he'll approve.

Dear Oloye,
It's good to be blunt and best to appreciate love. He called you his role model and spent hours to get it noticed by you.

Do you know why more Artist are drawing Oloye despite that he's always blunt at criticizing their art of him?
His criticism makes them better, it gives them more exposure and popularity than a mere "thank you" many other develop soft spot and patronize them. It's a strategy

Lol. It's his own way of shading, the paper and pencil used coupled with the light from the surrounding when snapping. This work is great. That's y I don't draw ppl without their consent. Pls even though you wount pay dont down grade an artwork. Styles differ.

U live in a continent where leadership is non-existent. The youth & every1 else r on their own. Dis guy takes his time 2 draw u & this is how u respond? I appreciate bluntness but dis is quite insensitive in my opinion. Some people are on the brink. One word cld be the last straw
