While speaking to Nigeria Info FM Portharcout, Yobo said he will be adding his play management skills to the team not necessarily tactics.

According to his words:

“I bring in my experience, I am going to bring in belief, I am going to be an interface between the players.

“One thing people don’t understand my time as the captain, a lot of things that happened behind the scenes players don’t want to talk about because they’ll be a scapegoat.

“We have somebody else, Gernot Rohr, he’s the tactician, he’s the head coach. I am assisting him in things that maybe he might not see, I’m working under him, I’m not the head coach,”

In addition, Yobo also said that he’s working on his coaching license and he will soon be done with it.
“It’s in progress, everything is going to come through, if not for this pandemic as well. But like I said this is a topic that we can talk about for days,”
