Jill Rhodes was born on the 27th of August, 1962 in Montgomery, Alabama, the United States, where she grew up and also attended high school.

Shortly after she graduated from the university, Jill Rhodes got a job as a political columnist with Huntsville Times. Her brilliant academic qualifications and skills catapulted gave her career huge a boot. She also worked as a radio host at WVNN where Sean Hannity, her future husband also worked.
The duo bonded at the station and she later worked on his show. Sean often collaborated with Jill on story ideas at the radio station and he didn’t hesitate to express his love for her as he often leaves her with amazing voice notes before they eventually met in person at Huntsville mayoral event in 1992, an event he hosted.
Jill Rhodes went on to work as a book editor at Manhattan for a short period before she retired from the media to focus on her family.
Marriage to Sean Hannity
Sean Hannity got attached to Jill Rhodes immediately he saw her gorgeous pictures on one of her columns. He told Newsmax in 2011 why he got attracted to her:
“She was talented — gifted, but I just fell in love with the little picture in her column.”
On the other hand, Jill Rhodes said she was immediately attracted to him and she knew from the onset that he was going to be her husband.
“I looked at his face, and I said, That is the man I’m going to marry, “ she told People’s Magazine in 2002.
Jill and Sean dated for a while before they got married in 1993. Sean revealed that most people including Jill’s former colleagues and a pastor who counseled them didn’t want her to marry him.
“He said, ‘You’re crazy to be marrying this guy,’ because I started arguing about how the church has become too liberal. And I think she left that meeting in tears.”
Sean also added that the same pastor that went against their union, conducted their wedding ceremony and that of their friends but they were the only ones still together after 18 years as of 2012.
“Eighteen years later, we’re the only ones still married.”
The couple moved to New York after their marriage and they enjoyed a wonderful time together career-wise as well as a newly-married couple. Some months later, Jill gave birth to their first child, Patrick, in 1999 while their second, Merri Kelly was born in 2002.

The couple enjoyed a lovely time after the birth of Patrick and Kelly. Sean dedicated his first book, Let Freedom Ring: Winning the War of Liberty Over Liberalism, to Jill Rhodes and their kids.

Divorce
Although the couple finally separated in 2020, they had been apart a few years before their divorce was eventually finished. Unlike many other divorce cases which take a toll the children or child of the couple, Jill and Sean entered an agreement to work together in the interest of their children.
Sean’s sexual allegation contributed largely to their divorce. It was alleged that Sean Hannity and other news contributors to Fox News have at one point or the other harassed women at the station sexually.
Two prominent workers, chief Roger Ailes and commentator Bill O’Reilly, left their jobs following the accusation of sexual harassment. Sean was also accused by Debbie Schlussel, a conservative blogger, of sexually harassing her.
She revealed that he invited her to his hotel room after a book signing event but declined which led to her being blacklisted on Fox News.
Debbie, however, said she was never harassed by Bill O’Reilly in a radio interview with KFAQ radio, Tulsa.
