“Big Brother Naija gives us joy” – Nigerians disagree with Lai Muhammed over shutdown directive (See angry tweets)
Many Nigerians have taken to social media to vent their anger after news broke that Minister of Information, Alhaji Lai Muhammed had ordered the Nigerian Broadcasting Commision to shut down popular reality television show Big Brother Naija.
The show, in its fifth season is immensely popular with Nigerians particularly the younger demographic so it was not surprising that they have come down hard on the minister.

Most of the people who criticize this BBN haven't watched it at all there is viewer's discretion there for crying out loud! most of this older generation easily forgot their youthful days for a sane person to say bbn will corrupt the youth that person is no longer sane!
