Nigerian winger, Gift Orban is not showing signs of letting go of his place at the Europa Conference League scorers chart.
Orban was on target again for Gent as they breezed past the Ukrainian club 4-1 in front of their home fans.
The winger’s initial effort towards goal in the match was comfortably saved by Mykyta Turbayevskyi who showed great reflex to stop the Nigerian from scoring.
Eventually, the 21-year-old winger scored the third gaol of the night for Gent as he latched on a beautiful pass into the box before shooting the ball into the right corner to further extend Gent’s lead.
Gift Orban was on for the entirety of the game as he scored his fifth goal of the season. The Nigerian winger is joint-top with Nordsjaelland striker, Benjamin Nygren who also has five goals.
Orban has now scored 14 goals in 15 Europa Conference League appearances.
