Billie Eilish performed a fan-favorite song from The Nightmare Before Christmas alongside its creator Danny Elfman over the weekend. 

The singer, 19, took the stage at the Banc of California stadium for the live-to-film concert experience and performed Sally’s Song from the movie which came out nearly 30 years ago.

The Grammy-winner wore a patchwork dress styled to look just as Sally’s did in the 1993 classic. She let her short blonde hair fall to the top of her shoulders.

The Disney Concerts Instagram account posted a photo taken at the end of the bad guy singer’s performance in which she stands between Elfman and a very large Jack Skellington prop and holds hands with both before delivering a bow. 

Eilish wasn’t the only star to take the stage in honor of the movie musical. Paul Reubens, who had a small role in the original movie, and ‘Weird Al’ Yankovic also added their voices to the concert.

Ken Page, the voice of the villainous Oogie Boogie in the original film, reprised his role from the movie as did Danny Elfman who provided the main character Jack Skellington’s singing voice.

The movie was based on a poem and story written by Burton, and went on to gross $91.5million at the box office against a $24million budget.

Proving popular over the years, the film has been reissued by Walt Disney Pictures many times.

It was re-released annually in Disney Digital 3-D from 2006 until 2009, making it the first stop-motion animated feature to be entirely converted to 3D.

On top of her current run as Sally in concert, the Bored singer has worked quite a bit this year. 

The Los Angeles native has attended several events for the new James Bond movie, No Time To Die, because she performed the film’s title track of the same name. She joined the likes of Adele, Tom Jones and Madonna as artists who sang the title track for a Bond movie.  

She released her second studio album, Happier Than Ever at the end of July which peaked at number 1 in countries al over the world. 

The success of her album has prompted a 2022 tour which will begin in February and, though there will be some intermittent breaks, will continue through September. The tour will begin in New Orleans and end in far off Australia.
