Celeste Barber feels the chill as she rugs up in a cosy jacket and jeans and braves a bitterly cold day in Perth

She’s become a global star thanks to her hilarious celebrity parodies on Instagram.

But on Tuesday, Celeste Barber cut a low-key figure in a cosy jacket and jeans as she departed Perth Airport.

The comedian, 39, kept warm in a black jumper and jacket as she held her bag and left the airport.

Celeste completed her ensemble with a pair of white sneakers and sunglasses.

She tied her long brunette locks back and was all smiles as she left the arrivals lounge after landing in Perth.

The sighting comes after Celeste recently revealed that she had come down with a mystery illness.

In a video shared to Instagram Stories last month, the comedian revealed that she had lost her voice.

‘This voice is fine, isn’t it? This voice is totally fine,’ she croaked in the clip, sounding hoarse.

She then explained she had to ‘shoot eight scenes’ tomorrow and didn’t appear sure she was up to it.

Celeste did not reveal what she was ill with but it seems she may have contracted an unknown virus.

Meanwhile, the comedian recently filmed Netflix’s dramedy series Wellmania.

She’s playing the lead and also serves as executive producer on the series, which was inspired by Brigid Delaney’s novel Wellmania: Misadventures in the Search for Wellness.
