Kate Lawler put her creativity to the test as she quickly fabricated a makeshift face mask for a train journey, on Tuesday. 

The television personality, 41, faced Covid-19 with two sanitary towels stuck to her face in a hilarious blunder after leaving her facemask at home.

Kate looked less than impressed documented the disastrous journey on her Instagram as the infamous Oh No! snippet played in the background.

Alongside the humourous video she penned: ‘If you’d have told me in January 2020 that in two years from now, I’d stick two sanitary towels on my face to create a makeshift mask while on the train, I’d have thought you were drunk.’

Kate later took to her story to explain her mishap and ask her followers what they have made masks out of as she ‘won’t be the first or last person’ to find themselves in the same sticky situation.

One follower comedically revealed: ‘My friend has to use a pair of her 6 year old’s spare pants as a mask to go into the supermarket a few months ago but this wins.’

Luckily Kate detailed that she later managed to find some facemasks in Superdrug and it seemed that her luck was in as she got two for the price of one.

Whilst she might be a novice in the facemask department, Kate recently proved that she is quite the pro when it comes to looking after her daughter, Noa, and her dogs at the same time.

Kate was every inch the doting mum as she stepped out with her 10-month-old and her two dogs for a stroll in London, last month. 

But later joked that passers by had been shouting ‘you’ve got your hands full!’ 

Kate admitted that she did have her hands full, but only because one of her dog was refusing to walk and then decided to bark at squirrels on their walk.
