Laycon joins GOtv as brand ambassador, set for 5-city road show

Pay television channel, GOtv have unveiled 2020 Big Brother Naija winner Olamilekan Agbeleshe popularly known as Laycon as its brand ambassador.

At a colourful event on Tuesday, Laycon said becoming ambassador of a brand like GOtv is the next chapter of a glorious year for him and he’s delighted to uphold the image of the platform.

He said: “I feel honoured to be a part of this leading pay TV entertainment brand. GOtv is about quality entertainment and I look forward to showcasing the amazing campaign we’ve worked on together!”

Speaking at the occasion, Chief Customer Officer of MultiChoice, Martin Mabutho said Laycon’s humility and intelligence were key factors in tapping him up for the role of ambassadorship.

“There’s so much going on in your life and I want you to remain yourself. There are a lot of things lined up for you and I pray you won’t drop the ball. Keep being yourself and the world will be yours to conquer,” he said.

As part of his ambassadorship, Laycon will embark on a 5-city musical tour to promote his music as well as the GOtv brand.

A schedule of the tour revealed that he would kick off from his home state of Ogun on November 19th and 20th before moving to Enugu on the 26th and 27th for another performance.

The South-south city of Uyo in Akwa Ibom will be his next port of call on the 3rd and 4th of December before moving to the Federal Capital Abuja the following weekend of 10th and 11th. The tour will end in Lagos on the 17th and 18th of December.

The 28-year old said he’s happy to have a loaded schedule like that because it is the manifestation of his hard work and prayers.

“I’ve worked hard and prayed harder for this opportunity so, rather than be scared, I’m excited to do this,” he said.
